    It probably wouldn’t hurt, and it’s always good to know another language.

    Oh my yes! In southern california I got turned down for every retail job I applied for, because I didn’t know spanish. Learn that spanish and you become a very valuable asset. Companies desperately need bilingual I’m sure once you’re hired you’ll almost wish you didn’t know spanish, because they’ll always ask you to help translate to help a client/customer.
