Hi, I don’t think that living in London will hinder you. I used Michel Thomas to begin with which was great for the basic language skills. There are also language exchange sites online where you can speak with native speakers. When in London also search for Spanish/English exchange groups or meet ups. Look, you don’t need necessarily to work daily with native people like me.

What you need is “Tell Me More” which is a course very useful.. Did you know that I’m latin and I learnt English with this? Well, I learnt a little bit with my parents in Winnipeg as well.

I’ve been trying to improve my Spanish since forever. For the last few months I’ve been attending a little school that has all of the above and I’ve made huge strides. I still say I can’t hold a conversation, but on the other hand I get through entire sessions and conversations at the school without ever using English.
