No, if your sister is sucessful, your child will have a seemless understanding of both languages. You might get confused though, because he/she might start speaking spanglish at times.

If you teach him both at the same time it is very benificial.He won’t get confused but he may take loger to speak in full sentences. He will be smarter when he starts school though.
