What would be some benefits to taking Spanish courses at a college?

I can already converse in Spanish, though probably more on the level of a child’s ability. Indeed there is considerable room for improvement, especially in the areas of reading and writting. With that being said, would there be any additional benefits aside from becoming more fluent? I’m already an engineer, so I’m not planning on a career as a translator.

Thanks for the feedback but I would prefer not to study around Sol for some reasons.

should i drop Spanish in high school to take technology courses instead?

He also said that technology is seemed to be used more and more in the newer job fields. So should i drop Spanish to study these other classes?
